How to set up power management? Teach you how to save energy and protect the environment
Energy conservation and emission reduction is an important global issue, and power management is often overlooked in daily life. Setting up power management correctly can help us save energy and reduce emissions, while also extending the lifespan of computers. This article will introduce you to how to set up power management.

1、 Turn on power management
Before starting the setup, first confirm whether power management is turned on. In Windows systems, you can confirm whether power management is turned on by:
1. Right click on the desktop and select 'Personalize'.
2. Select 'Screen Saver' on the left side.
3. In the screen saver settings interface, click the "Power" button in the lower right corner.
4. In the pop-up "Power Options" dialog box, select the "Balance" mode.
5. Click on 'Change Plan Settings' to ensure that both' Display Off Time 'and' Enter Standby Time 'have been set.

2、 Regularly turn off the display
When not using a computer, it is usually a waste of electrical energy when the monitor is constantly on. By setting the display shutdown time, we can reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
1. In the power options interface, select "Change Plan Settings".
In the "Change Plan Settings" dialog box, click "Change Advanced Power Settings".
3. Expand the "Display" option and set the "Display Off Time".

3、 Timed entry into sleep mode
Sleep mode can put the computer into a low-power state to achieve energy-saving goals. By setting the duration of sleep mode, we can enable the computer to automatically enter sleep mode when not in use for a long time, achieving energy-saving effects.
1. In the power options interface, select "Change Plan Settings".
In the "Change Plan Settings" dialog box, click "Change Advanced Power Settings".
3. Expand the "Sleep" option and set the "Enter Sleep Time".

4、 Turn off wireless network
Although wireless networks have made our lives more convenient, they are also a form of power consumption. If the wireless network is turned off when the computer does not need to be connected, it can further save energy.
1. In the power options interface, select "Change Plan Settings".
In the "Change Plan Settings" dialog box, click "Change Advanced Power Settings".
3. Expand the "Wireless Adapter Settings" option and set "Power Management" to "Maximum Battery Life".
Through the above settings, the computer can automatically enter a low-power state when not in use, achieving the effect of saving electricity. At the same time, it can also extend the lifespan of computers, achieving environmental protection and economy.
